Rangers' Seager claims historic 2nd career World Series MVP
Shortstop Corey Seager was named World Series MVP following the Texas Rangers' five-game triumph over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Seager posted three home runs, six RBIs, and six runs scored in the Fall Classic.
He's only the fourth player in MLB history to win multiple World Series MVPs, joining Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson, Sandy Koufax, and Bob Gibson.
"I don't think you can ever fathom that," he said. "It's a pretty special group to be part of."

The other is LeBron James.
"I don’t know what else to say about the man, Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said, according to The Associated Press. "He’s just incredible."
The 29-year-old won his first MVP with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2020.
Seager was an offensive dynamo in October. He finished the postseason slashing .318/.451/.682 with six home runs and 12 RBIs across 17 games.
The four-time All-Star joined the Rangers on a 10-year, $325-million contract ahead of the 2022 campaign. Texas slumped to a 68-94 record in Seager's first season with the franchise. Seager praised Rangers fans for continuing to support the team despite its struggles over the past few seasons.
"Thank you for sticking through all these years," Seager told MLB Network postgame. "It's just a hell of a moment. This is what it's all for, and I'm glad we finally did it."
