Nike unveils Kobe 8 Protro 'Halo' shoes designed by Vanessa Bryant
Nike is continuing to pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant with a new sneaker.
On Thursday, Nike unveiled the Kobe 8 Protro "Halo" - an updated, all-white iteration of Bryant's eighth signature shoe that originally released in 2012. The sneaker was imagined and created by Bryant's widow, Vanessa Bryant.
"This will be one of many Kobe 8 'Halo' styles coming soon," Vanessa wrote on Instagram.
The newest Kobe 8 will be released Aug. 23 on what would've been Bryant's 45th birthday. Future versions of the "Halo" concept will also be released annually on this date, according to Nike.
