Report: Richard Sherman a candidate to join Skip Bayless on 'Undisputed'
Former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman has reportedly been tabbed as a potential replacement for Shannon Sharpe on FS1's "Undisputed."
Sherman met with "Undisputed" host Skip Bayless at a hotel in Beverly Hills on Wednesday to discuss the possibility of joining the sports talk show, sources told Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.
Sharpe hosted "Undisputed" alongside Bayless for seven years before exiting the show in June. The program is set to return at the end of August.
Sherman has history with Bayless, having clashed with the 71-year-old while appearing as a guest on ESPN's "First Take" in 2013.
During their infamous exchange, Sherman told Bayless to "address me as an All-Pro Stanford graduate" and said the television personality "had never accomplished anything." Bayless said he "accomplished more in my field than you have in yours, though you're just getting started."
The 35-year-old Sherman last played in the NFL during the 2021 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though he has yet to officially retire. He spent last season working as an analyst for Amazon Prime Video's Thursday Night Football coverage.
