Carlos Sainz Jr: P5 in Barcelona

Sainz finished fifth in the Spanish Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday.

Analysis:

The Ferrari veteran would start P2 alongside Max Verstappen, but he couldn't beat him into turn 1 after the green flag dropped. Sainz would set up shop in second-place and try to hold onto Verstappen for the first dozen laps. However, he'd fall to 6-seconds back by that point. Eventually Sainz would lose battles with the faster Mercedes duo and Sergio Perez to slip to P5 by the checkered flag.
