A map created by Betonline.ag using geotagged Twitter data related to the tournament, including over 250,000 tweets, shows fans across the United States are split when it comes to choosing a winner.
Defending national champion Kansas is the most popular pick to win in nine states, making it the narrow favorite. Alabama is favored in eight states, while Purdue ranks third with seven states.
