While fans will likely always be divided over whether LeBron James or Michael Jordan is the greatest NBA player of all time, a new study suggests the Los Angeles Lakers star may have the edge for now.
A map created by Betonline.ag using geotagged Twitter data from the last week related to the GOAT debate, including over 200,000 tweets, shows James is favored over Jordan across the United States.
James was the most popular pick in 29 states, while Jordan was the favorite in 21 states.

The results come after James became the NBA's new all-time leading scorer, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's previous record of 38,388 points.
