Popeyes meme kid is now playing college football
Dieunerst Collin, who rose to fame a decade ago after a video of him went viral on Vine, is now making a name for himself as a college football player.
Collin is a 6-foot-1, 330-pound offensive lineman in his freshman season at Lake Erie College, a Division II school in Painesville, Ohio. He came to Lake Erie from East Orange, New Jersey, where he was awarded first-team all-conference, county, and division, and second-team all-state as a high schooler.

In 2013, a video of Collin was posted on the now-defunct platform Vine showing the then-9-year-old giving side-eye after being mistaken for another viral star, Lil Terrio, while standing inside a Popeyes restaurant.
Collin hopes to turn his viral fame into a name, image, and likeness deal with Popeyes and let the company know Sunday that he's ready to talk business.
Collin and the Lake Erie College Storm finished the 2022 season 3-8.
