Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is skeptical of the MVP buzz surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

"When we look at the Eagles, is it Hurts or the team?" Parsons said on the "Voncast," hosted by Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller.

Hurts has been playing the best football of his young career the last three weeks, racking up 1,007 total yards with nine touchdowns and zero turnovers.

The quarterback's recent play has ignited conversation about him potentially being MVP.

"It's system and team," Parsons said. He added, "I'm not trying to make no enemies. I just love the game so much, and I understand it so much, that when things are off, I just can't hold it in. I just gotta say something."

Parsons has been a force this season. He has 12 sacks with 13 tackles for loss. The Cowboys' defense ranks third in points per game allowed.

"We're worried about the Bears right now," Hurts said Wednesday when asked about Parsons' comments, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.

Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata echoed Hurts' comments about staying focused on the Bears.

The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 26-17 on Oct. 16, but starting quarterback Dak Prescott did not play in that game.

Philadelphia will take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday. The Cowboys and Eagles are set to square off on Christmas Eve.
