The New Orleans Saints have been fined $350,000 for Cameron Jordan allegedly faking an injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.

Additionally, Jordan and his position coach Ryan Nielsen were each fined $50,000, while head coach Dennis Allen was fined $100,000, per Florio.

The Saints released a statement Saturday denying the allegations.

"Defensive end Cameron Jordan felt foot pain following a third-down play and sought medical attention. He entered the blue medical tent and was examined by the medical staff and, following the examination, he was taped and able to finish the game.

"He had an MRI performed the following day in New Orleans and was confirmed that he suffered an acute mid-foot sprain in his left foot. He has been at the facility each day receiving treatment for his injury he suffered on the play. The Saints will appeal the fines through the proper channels and believe the allegations will be proved incorrect."

The NFL issued a memo Dec. 2 warning teams about potential fines if the league concludes a player faked an injury.

Cameras showed Jordan received direction from the Saints' sideline during Monday's contest to go down and fake an ailment, Florio added.

The alleged incident occurred in the fourth quarter after a third-and-17 play. Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was lining up for a fourth-down play when Jordan took a knee and pointed at his left leg.

Jordan took to social media Saturday to express his frustration with the fine.

"Are fines made by NFL open to (the) public?" Jordan tweeted. "I just feel like this should be public knowledge. 'Cause some of the fines are silly, but this one (is) ridiculous. ... NFL just wanted a new Patek Aquanaut (watch) or something."

The Buccaneers rallied from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Saints.
