Jayson Tatum's signature sneaker is set to drop early next year.

The Boston Celtics star revealed during a recent interview with Graham Bensinger that his first Jordan Brand shoe will be released in March 2023.

"This summer, I got to go to Portland, where Nike headquarters are at, and I got to put 'em on for the first time," Tatum said. "That was like one of the coolest parts of my summer, putting on my own signature shoe."

Tatum said he wants to be as involved as possible in the design process.

"I like to see my ideas come to life," he said. "I don't mind sitting on an hour-and-a-half, two-hour Zoom call and coming up with 40 ideas, and we only use 20 of them. I'm fine with that. But I like to be a part of the creative part, 'cause seeing things come to life is special.

"This is one of those moments as a kid you only could dream about. Everybody wants to make it to the NBA, but I wanted to be the first number overall pick. I wanted to be an All-Star, All-NBA, MVP. Have my own signature shoe. I'm living out my dreams in real time."

Tatum signed a multi-year deal with Jordan Brand in 2019. He joins Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Zion Williamson, and Luka Doncic as current NBA players with signature Jordan sneakers.
