Rodgers jokes about skimping on Christmas gifts to motivate Packers' OL
Aaron Rodgers' holiday shopping list could be a lot shorter this year if the Green Bay Packers' offensive line continues to struggle.
The Packers quarterback was asked Tuesday during his weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" how he motivates his offensive line, and he jokingly suggested cutting back drastically on Christmas gifts.
"I tell them I'm gonna restrict the gift-giving this holiday season," Rodgers said. I'm gonna cut way back. I'm gonna be skimping on the budget big time if this shit doesn't turn around.
"Hopefully that's enough impetus to get them going good."
Rodgers has been known to go all-out on presents for his offensive linemen, gifting them everything from big-screen televisions to personalized ATVs.
The Packers fell to 3-3 on the season Sunday with a 27-10 loss to the New York Jets, and Rodgers was sacked four times in the game.
