All-Star outfielder Aaron Judge believes his New York Yankees need to rediscover the habits they established during their torrid start to the season.

"Just gotta have a little better energy in the dugout and push each other a little bit," Judge said Saturday, according to the New York Post's Greg Joyce.

"We're just missing that a little bit right now. We gotta come out and bring it (Sunday)."

New York has lost 14 of its last 17 contests and has seen the Toronto Blue Jays slash its AL East lead to just seven games.

The Yankees' offense has fallen flat in August. They sit 26th in the majors in runs scored (58) and 25th in OPS (.645) this month. Judge understands the lineup needs to improve at the plate to get back on track.

"When we're rolling, everyone's in on every single at-bat and everybody's pushing each other," Judge said. "We're missing a little bit of that right now."

Judge has still put together a solid month of August, boasting a 1.015 OPS in 57 at-bats.

"Some of the stuff I'm seeing is just individual at-bats instead of team at-bats," he said.

"Once we turn that around, we'll be right back where we need to be."
