Ramon Laureano was done with losing. And so were the Oakland Athletics.

Laureano was seen screaming at his teammates in the home half of the sixth inning of Saturday's game against the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field, appearing to yell, "Wake the fuck up!" The A's entered the contest having lost 10 straight.

The Athletics certainly seemed to heed the call, going off for five runs the following inning to take a 7-5 lead in the seventh. Seth Brown's grand slam did the most damage, while Laureano struck out during the rally and was subsequently ejected.

Oakland ultimately won 10-5, scoring at least one run in each frame following Laureano's outburst.

"Ramon is passionate," A's manager Mark Kotsay said, according to The Associated Press. "That's the Ramon I've always talked about.

"My biggest thing is letting guys be themselves," the rookie skipper continued. "That's Ramon being himself - his energy, his passion, his frustrations, kind of came out. That was heard loud and clear in that dugout."
