Berry was arrested Tuesday night for failure to appear in court, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The original warrant was for a charge of driving with a suspended license, and while that probably isn't something the Ravens care about for most players, every little thing matters when you are on the roster bubble. Berry spent 2011 on the practice squad and 2012 on injured reserve, so it's probably fair to say that this is his final chance at a spot on the Baltimore roster. We didn't like his chances before the arrest and we certainly don't like them now. Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce are absolute locks, while Bobby Rainey and Anthony Allen are probably both ahead of Berry at this point. The Ravens have traditionally carried three running backs.
