Tiger Woods is officially trying to return to Augusta.

The legendary golfer declared himself a "game-time decision" to play at next week's Masters Tournament. It's been nearly 14 months since Woods suffered significant injuries to his lower extremities in a car accident.

Woods reportedly played a practice round at Augusta last week, prompting speculation about a potential return. He played all 18 holes with his son, Charlie, and fellow pro Justin Thomas.

The 46-year-old hasn't played in an official PGA TOUR event since tying for 38th at the 2020 Masters with a score of 1-under.

Woods won his fifth Masters title in 2019 in miraculous fashion not long after returning from spinal fusion surgery. It was his first major win in over a decade and the 15th of his career.
