Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons will miss at least one-to-two weeks after an MRI revealed mild patellar tendinopathy in his left knee, the team announced Friday.

Simons is amid a breakout season, posting a career-best 17.3 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 57 games. The 22-year-old has operated as one of Portland's go-to options offensively with star point guard Damian Lillard sidelined following abdominal surgery on Jan. 13. In 30 contests as a starter, Simons is averaging 22 points and 5.5 assists while shooting 41.5% from 3-point range.

Portland sits 11th in the Western Conference with a 25-40 record and just 1 ½ games back of the West's final play-in tournament spot.
