The New York Knicks' latest rallying cry was among the write-in votes cast in the city's 2021 mayoral election.
"Bing Bong," a phrase Knicks fans adopted this season following a viral video, was written in twice during the November election, as For The Win's Bryan Kalbrosky noted.

The two-word phrase took over social media after franchise fan Jordie Bloom was heard shouting "Bing Bong" in a viral video from Sidetalk NYC.
"The phrase is derived from the subway doors closing: 'Stand clear of the closing doors please; bing-bong,'" Bloom told ESPN's William E. Ricks.

"Bing Bong" wasn't the New York City mayoral election's only Knicks-related write-in vote. Team players Julius Randle and RJ Barrett received six and three votes, respectively, while Kemba Walker had his name written in once.
