High school phenom Mikey Williams inks deal with Puma
High school basketball star Mikey Williams is the newest member of the Puma Hoops roster.
Puma announced Thursday that it has signed Williams, a five-star recruit and one of the top prospects in the 2023 class, to a multi-year endorsement deal. The 17-year-old is the youngest athlete to sign with Puma Hoops.

Williams plays for Vertical Academy in Charlotte and has gained a huge following on social media, including 3.3 million followers on Instagram.
"His reach with the young consumer is incredible," Adam Petrick, Puma's global director of brand and marketing, told Kim Bhasin of Bloomberg. "He's obviously a basketball player first, but we also see him as a basketball influencer."
