Calle Jarnkrok was the only member of the Seattle Kraken remaining in COVID-19 protocol for the team's first-ever regular-season game after a handful of the club's players were put on the list Monday.

Jarnkrok landed in the protocol Friday. Joonas Donskoi, Marcus Johansson, Jared McCann, and Jamie Oleksiak joined him three days later, leaving all five players in doubt for Tuesday's road contest against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Kraken placed Johansson back on the roster later on Monday, but Seattle head coach Dave Hakstol said Tuesday morning that the other four players wouldn't be available for the evening's game with no timeline for their return.

That changed at some point Tuesday, because Donskoi, McCann, and Oleksiak joined the team for the pregame warmup, while Jarnkrok remained out.

It doesn't necessarily mean a player tested positive if they're in COVID-19 protocol. Kraken general manager Ron Francis said before the preseason that his entire roster is vaccinated.
