Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith is providing free Game 5 tickets, lodging, and car service for Ja Morant's family and friends, the Memphis Grizzlies star's father told ESPN's Malika Andrews and Tim MacMahon.

Three Jazz fans were banned indefinitely from Vivint Arena for directing racist and vulgar remarks toward Morant's parents during last week's Game 2 matchup.

"It was a nice gesture from the Jazz," Ja's father Tee Morant said. "It was unfortunate. It was just a few fans - most of them were great and cheering right alongside with us."

Morant's mother, Jamie, won't be making the trip to Salt Lake City due to the stress caused by the incident.

"She said her anxiety couldn't take it," Tee said.

Several fan-related incidents have overshadowed the opening round of the playoffs.

On Monday, the Washington Wizards' ownership group banned a fan from the home arena and is pursuing charges after the individual ran onto the court during live play.
