Retired catcher Erik Kratz is blowing the whistle on more sign-stealing drama dating back to the 2018 season, implicating the Colorado Rockies and a second mystery team.

"I can tell you that a team that has been to the World Series often recently, we caught them doing something almost similar (to what the Houston Astros did)," Kratz said on YES Network's "Curtain Call" podcast.

It's possible Kratz is referring to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"And I can also tell you ... the Colorado Rockies were doing the exact same thing in 2018. And we caught them and we played them in the playoffs," Kratz, a member of the Milwaukee Brewers that season, added.

The Brewers swept the Rockies in three games during the National League Division Series that year.

Kratz detailed how the Rockies stole signs, saying they used a Theragun and banged it on their metal bench to relay information to the hitters.

Following the 2019 season, Major League Baseball found the Astros stole signs during 2017 and their 2018 World Series championship campaign. The league suspended general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch, fined the club $5 million, and stripped Houston of future draft picks.

Kratz played for the Brewers, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, San Francisco Giants, and Astros during his career.
