Brooklyn Nets teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could combine forces on a new sneaker in the future.

On the premiere episode of Boardroom's series "The Sneaker Game" with Nick DePaula, Durant revealed he's interested in making a hybrid shoe out of his and Irving's signature Nike sneakers.

"Our idea is always changing, every so often. So we'll see what we come up with," Durant said. "I definitely want to try to combine one of our shoes - not just the colorway but actually make a hybrid shoe of one of ours. I don't know which number I'll choose."

Durant also discussed some of his personal goals for his Nike partnership.

"Being with Nike for life and releasing shoes for as long as people want 'em," he said. "I feel as though I have a few shoes that can last. I feel like my brand and who I am as a player is solidified in this sport. So hopefully we can keep building what we have right now and see what happens."

Durant has released 14 signature sneakers since signing with Nike in 2007. His latest endorsement contract with the brand runs through 2024.
