Hickman is the 22nd ranked high school prospect on the 2021 ESPN 100. He initially chose the Wildcats over Kansas, Washington, Oklahoma, and more.
The 6-foot-2 guard from Seattle, Washington, was reportedly recruited heavily by then-Kentucky assistant Tony Barbee, who was recently hired as Central Michigan's head coach.
Hickman's departure leaves big man Daimion Collins as the only five-star prospect slated to arrive in Lexington for the 2021-22 season.
