Charles Barkley believes Tom Brady has surpassed Michael Jordan as the GOAT.

The Hall of Famer and NBA on TNT analyst weighed in on the debate Friday during an appearance on ESPN 1000's "Waddle and Silvy" show, pointing to Brady's playoff performances as the reason why he has the edge over Jordan.

"It's hard for me to put anybody above Michael, but Michael was always gonna be the best player four out of seven games," Barkley explained. "But the difference is, every time Tom Brady played a football game, it was a Game 7."

Barkley added: "(Jordan's) gonna win most series because he's gonna be the best player four outta seven games. But when you playing football, every single game in the playoffs is a Game 7."

Jordan won six championships with the Chicago Bulls and went undefeated in the NBA Finals. Brady, on the other hand, is 34-11 all time in the playoffs - including 7-3 in the Super Bowl - and has won more championships than any single NFL franchise.

Barkley went on to say that he was surprised Brady, 43, didn't decide to call it quits following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

"I can't believe he's not retired, I'm not gonna lie," Barkley said. "Because if you do what he just did - beat Drew Brees in New Orleans, beat Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field, and then beat Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl, that would be the greatest 'drop the mic' ever in sports."
