Two NBA games scheduled for Friday have been postponed due to health and safety protocols, the league announced.
Nine contests this season have now been postponed.
The Washington Wizards-Detroit Pistons matchup and the Golden State Warriors-Phoenix Suns contest were pushed back. Neither the Suns nor Wizards will have the league-required eight available players because of ongoing contact tracing.
Phoenix's and Washington's contests Wednesday - against the Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz, respectively - were also postponed.
The league recently implemented stricter health and safety protocols amid a spike in positive COVID-19 tests.
