Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons will miss his second consecutive game and won't play against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.

Simmons is considered day-to-day as he receives knee treatment, Charania adds.

The Australian floor general's knee troubles date back to August when he left the NBA's Orlando bubble to undergo surgery after suffering a partially dislocated left knee cap. Simmons is averaging 13.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, and seven assists through nine games this season.

The 76ers have been plagued by absences caused by injuries and the league's health and safety protocols. Philadelphia only had seven players available in its most recent game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
