The Dallas Mavericks' Jalen Brunson, Josh Richardson, and Dorian Finney-Smith are all out for Saturday's home game against the Orlando Magic due to health and safety protocols, according to the league's injury report.

Earlier on Friday, it was reported that three Mavericks were remaining in Denver to quarantine after one had tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the team's flight back to Texas, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The other two players were held back due to contact tracing protocols but were expected to continue to test negative, Charania added.

Richardson and Finney-Smith have both started all eight of the Mavericks' games so far this season. Richardson, a shooting guard, has averaged 13.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game, while Finney-Smith has put up 9.3 points, five rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 29.4 minutes a night on the wing.

Brunson has primarily operated as the team's sixth man, coming off the bench in seven of his eight appearances. He's averaged 11.1 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game.

Dallas beat the Denver Nuggets in overtime Thursday.
