Two Golden State Warriors players tested positive for COVID-19 as training camp opened, team president Bob Myers said Tuesday, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater.
As a result, the start of individual workouts has been pushed to Wednesday with practices delayed until next week.
Several NBA teams commenced individual workouts Tuesday, exactly three weeks before the 2020-21 season is scheduled to tip off.
According to new COVID-19 protocols the NBA released last week, any player or team staff member who tests positive must sit out of training and practice for 10 days, followed by two days of masked, independent workouts.
