Lonzo Ball appears ready to officially move on from Big Baller Brand.
The New Orleans Pelicans point guard has launched a new company called Born to Ball Inc. and also submitted a trademark application in September for an apparel line called "ApolloZo," according to documents obtained by LA Sports Radio.
The trademark filing doesn't include footwear, so it's possible Ball could sign a traditional sneaker deal, ESPN's Nick DePaula reports.
Ball distanced himself from Big Baller Brand in the aftermath of the scandal in 2019 involving co-founder Alan Foster, though his signature ZO2 shoe is still being sold through Big Baller Brand's online store.
Ball's younger brother, LaMelo, recently started his own clothing line called LaFrance.
