Tiger Woods and his 11-year-old son Charlie have committed to the PNC Championship in December, the PGA Tour announced Thursday.

The event is formerly known as the Father/Son Challenge, but now features PGA and LPGA Tour major winners competing with a family member. The tournament will take place from Dec. 17-20 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.

"I can't tell you how excited I am to be playing with Charlie in our first official tournament together. It's been great watching him progress as a junior golfer and it will be incredible playing as a team together in the PNC Championship," Woods said.

Tiger has caddied for Charlie at several junior events, but the youngster's game has primarily been kept out of the public eye. Earlier in the year, a video of one of Charlie's silky smooth driving range swings went viral:

The event will be broadcasted on Peacock, NBC, and Golf Channel on Dec. 19 and 20. Times can be found here.

Other notable pairings in the field include Justin Thomas and his father Mike, as well as Bernhard Langer and his son Jason.
