The Philadelphia 76ers are trading Al Horford, a first-round pick, and a second-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Danny Green and Terrance Ferguson, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Philadelphia is sending the 34th pick in the 2020 draft, a lightly protected 2025 first-round pick, and the draft rights to Vasilije Micic to Oklahoma City. The Thunder currently also own the rights to the 25th and 28th selections in Wednesday's draft.

This trade - which is Daryl Morey's first as president of basketball operations for the 76ers - can be finalized after the Thunder's earlier transaction with the Los Angeles Lakers centered around swapping Dennis Schroder for Green was made official on Thursday.

Oklahoma City now owns the rights to a whopping 17 first-round picks through 2026, ESPN's Tim Bontemps notes.

Philadelphia no longer needs to pay out the remainder of Horford's hefty contract following this move. The veteran big man is set to earn $81 million over the next three seasons, while Green and Ferguson will pocket $19.1 million combined in 2020-21.

After the 76ers signed him in free agency last offseason, Horford failed to mesh well alongside All-NBA center Joel Embiid in the team's frontcourt. The 33-year-old averaged 11.9 points on a career-worst 45% shooting from the field.

Green shot 36.7% from long range while winning a championship with the Lakers last season, and Ferguson registered 3.9 points in 22.4 minutes per game for the Thunder during the 2019-20 campaign.
