A couple of betting trends came through for us last week, including the West Virginia-Texas under and Oklahoma -38 against Kansas.

If you want to incorporate more trends into your Week 11 plays, be sure to keep these notes handy.

Play Miami under as a road underdog

Miami just played a barn burner with North Carolina State last Friday, but don't expect another one when it travels to take on Virginia Tech.

The Hurricanes are getting 2.5 points against the Hokies, and they're on a perfect 5-0 run to the under as road 'dogs.

Miami's last five as a road underdog

Opponent Final Total Over/Under
Clemson L 42-17 60.5 U
Florida State W 27-10 49 U
Pitt W 16-12 43 U
Georgia Tech L 27-21 50.5 U
Notre Dame L 30-27 58.5 U

The overall series between these two clubs is also trending under, going 11-5-1 in the last 17 matchups.

Trend play: Under 67

Indiana's flying over on the road

On the contrary, know who's trending over? Indiana, especially on the road.

The Hoosiers have gone over the total in each of the last six away from home, combining to average 67.6 points with their opponents over that span.

Indiana's cashed all three overs so far this season; don't be surprised if it's four in a row this weekend at Michigan State.

Trend play: Over 52

Hop on the Tulane bandwagon

Tulane head coach Willie Fritz doesn't get enough credit for the job he does. Not only has he taken a struggling program to consecutive bowl games, but he's also been a cash cow for bettors.

Fritz is just 27-31 overall at his post, but he's on a blistering 7-1 run against the spread as a home favorite. Tulane's also 17-5 ATS in its last 22 at home, 4-0 ATS in the last four against Independent programs, and 4-0 the previous four overall.

Lay the chalk against Army.

Trend play: Tulane -5

Wisconsin will cruise past Michigan

Wisconsin looked great in its opener, but is a Week 11 trip to 1-2 Michigan a trip-up spot? Don't bank on it.

Badgers head coach Paul Chryst has done a phenomenal job getting his team up when it's a road favorite, cashing 13 of the last 17. Wisconsin is also 10-2-1 ATS in its last 13 matchups against Michigan, while the favorite has covered five of the last six in the series.

Trend play: Wisconsin -4.5

Purdue ripe for an upset?

Northwestern's Pat Fitzgerald and Purdue's Jeff Brohm are two of the best coaches in college football to bet as underdogs. This time, it's Brohm and Co.

Purdue has been almost automatic as a home 'dog under Brohm. The Boilermakers are on a 4-0 run ATS in this situation, with three outright wins during that span.

If bettors want to maximize their profits, consider taking the Boilermakers on the moneyline rather than the spread.

Trend plays: Purdue +3, ML
