A valuable piece of memorabilia from Michael Jordan's brief baseball stint has resurfaced thanks to "The Last Dance."

In an interview with Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Hollywood actor and stuntman Tony Todd revealed that a Louisville Slugger bat autographed by Jordan had been sitting in the trunk of his 1966 Pontiac LeMans for the past 13 years. Todd had forgotten about the bat until someone asked if he still had it when "The Last Dance" aired.

"My God, I had totally forgotten I had the M.J. bat, to be honest," said Todd, who played Mickey Scales in the 1994 baseball movie "Little Big League." "When the guy mentioned it, I sprinted through the house like Carl Lewis.

"I'm running around the house, going, 'Where's the bat? Where's the bat?' I couldn't find it."

Jordan used the bat in a 1994 Arizona Fall League game with the Scottsdale Scorpions. Todd got the opportunity to meet Jordan in the clubhouse following the game, during which the NBA legend gave him the bat and took a photo with him.

The bat is now set to be auctioned off Saturday by Memory Lane.

"I'm not in desperate need to sell it, and I don't want to give it away," Todd said, "but there can't be that many Jordan bats signed."
