Derek Jeter lists Tampa mansion for $29M after renting it to Tom Brady
A mansion that was home to both Derek Jeter and Tom Brady is up for sale in Florida.
Jeter and his wife, Hannah, placed the 30,875-square-foot Tampa estate on the market Tuesday for $29 million, just a few months after renting it to Brady, according to Sydney Franklin of The New York Times.
"This is the most impressive home to ever hit the market in the Tampa Bay area," said real estate agent Stephen Gay, who's handling the listing.
The house, located on Davis Islands, was custom built by the former New York Yankees shortstop and current Miami Marlins CEO. It features seven bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, two boat lifts, and an 80-foot saltwater lap pool.
Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, rented the home after he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March and were aware that the Jeters planned to sell it.
"Tom and Derek negotiated favorable terms in the lease agreement so the Jeters could list, market, show, and sell the property for sale," Gay said.
