Rare Giannis rookie card could fetch $2M at auction
A Giannis Antetokounmpo rookie trading card could set a new record at auction this month.
The card - part of Panini America's 2013-14 National Treasures line - is being sold through Goldin Auctions, which told TMZ Sports it believes the auction could crack the $2-million mark. The record for the most expensive modern-day card currently belongs to a LeBron James 2003-2004 Upper Deck rookie card, which was auctioned off for $1.8 million in July.
The Antetokounmpo card features an NBA Logoman patch from one of his game-worn jerseys along with his signature. It's 1-of-1 and has been graded a Mint 9 by Beckett Grading Service.
