DeChambeau cards quintuple-bogey 10 to miss cut at Memorial Tournament
Bryson DeChambeau is the gift that keeps on giving.
The 26-year-old was in prime position to make the cut at the Memorial Tournament on Friday, sitting at 1-over par with four holes to play. Then disaster struck.
DeChambeau made a rare quintuple-bogey 10 on the par-5 15th, plummetting down the leaderboard to miss the cut.
His tee shot found the water on the left. He then hit two consecutive shots out of bounds, nearly putting a third out of play as well.
DeChambeau thought he could still hit the first shot he sent out of play, with the ball sitting under a fence:

He finally found the green on his eighth shot and two-putted for 10.
Twitter had fun at DeChambeau's expense:

DeChambeau took heat after confronting a cameraman at the Rocket Mortgage Classic two weeks ago; he said the man had filmed him for too long and that there was a need for "privacy" on the course.
DeChambeau's caddie made a clear effort to obstruct the camera as he walked No. 16 on Friday:
