Cubs select Dallas Baptist closer Burl Carraway No. 51 overall

With the 51st pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Chicago Cubs selected Burl Carraway, a left-handed reliever out of Dallas Baptist.
Carraway is considered the top relief pitcher in this year's draft. As a sophomore, he was selected to the All-MVC first team after allowing just one home run. Carraway is also the first pitcher in Dallas Baptist history to pitch for the U.S. national collegiate baseball team.
