With the 58th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Oakland Athletics selected Jeff Criswell, a right-handed pitcher out of Michigan.
Criswell showed that he can shine on a big stage when the Wolverines asked him to come out of the bullpen in the 2019 College World Series. He excelled in the role, but Michigan fell one win shy of a national title.
His dad, Brian, was the A's 17th-round draft pick in 1984, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
