With the 89th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Boston Red Sox selected Blaze Jordan, a third baseman out of DeSoto Central High School in Mississippi.

Jordan notably won High School Home Run Derby last July thanks to his incredible raw power.

Typically seen as a first baseman and projected to go sooner than the third round, the Red Sox announced Jordan as a third baseman.
