If you scrolled through the New York Jets' player props last season and blindly bet every under, I'm curious: What's it like living in a mansion?

It was that bad for the offense in 2019.

The franchise brought in so-called offensive guru Adam Gase to steer the ship, only for the Jets to rank No. 31 in points per game and last in the league in yards per play. Quarterback Sam Darnold didn't take a significant step forward, free-agent signing Le'Veon Bell was a non-factor, and the Jets trudged to a third-place finish in the division.

However, there are some things I like about the offense for the upcoming season. Let's dive into the props for 2020, headlined by two players who need their fortunes to change.

Le'Veon Bell O/U 8.5 touchdowns

Over: -115
Under: -115

If the Jets make the slightest improvement in the scoring department, Bell will do the same.

Of the 59 players that saw at least 110 touches last season, 18 of them scored five touchdowns or fewer; Bell was one of them. Leonard Fournette was one of two players in the NFL with 300-plus touches and four or fewer touchdowns; want to guess the other? It was Bell.

Volume's obviously never been an issue with the veteran running back. He has 300-plus touches in five seasons and recorded at least nine touchdowns in two consecutive seasons prior.

As long as a few more bounces go his way in 2020, he'll cruise past his total.

Pick: Over

Breshad Perriman O/U 50.5 receptions

Over: -115
Under: -115

Let's just get this out of the way: I love the over on Perriman's catches in 2020.

In 2019 with the Buccaneers, Perriman played in 14 games with just four starts. Still, he managed career highs with 36 catches, 645 yards, and six touchdowns. The 26-year-old's been a breakout candidate for a while now; if he can just clear a couple hurdles, maybe we'll see his full potential.

Perriman's been unlucky in terms of injuries, but last season, he encountered a different form of misfortune: The 26-year-old posted a 48% uncatchable target rate, which tied the Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the highest in the league. On top of those missed opportunities, Perriman had to fight for targets behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the only two teammates to get top 10 grades from PFF.

After leaving so much on the table in 2019, the first-year Jet should play a much larger role in an offense that doesn't have much receiver depth. This is an extremely easy buy.

Pick: Over
