Henry Cejudo's manager is confident the UFC bantamweight champion won't actually walk away from MMA.

"Henry's got everybody on their knees right now," Ali Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports. "I don't think he's gonna retire. You're gonna see him fight by this summer. This is what I think."

Cejudo defended his 135-pound belt for the first time with a second-round TKO of former champ Dominick Cruz in the UFC 249 co-main event earlier in May.

After the fight, "Triple C" made the surprising announcement that he's retiring at the age of 33.

Some thought the move was a negotiation ploy, but Cejudo then doubled down during the postfight press conference when he indicated he wants to start a family.

However, the Arizona native seemed to leave the door open for a return, as he said he gave UFC president Dana White a certain number that would get him back in the Octagon.

Cejudo became just the second fighter in the promotion's history to defend belts in two different weight classes with his victory over Cruz. The former flyweight champion is riding a six-fight winning streak and is one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC.
