Kawhi's Game 7 buzzer-beater named best sports photo of the year

A photo of Kawhi Leonard hitting his memorable buzzer-beater in Game 7 of the Toronto Raptors-Philadelphia 76ers Eastern Conference semifinals series last year has won a prestigious award.
The image, which was taken by Toronto-based photographer Mark Blinch, claimed the top prize in the Sports, Singles category of the 2020 World Press Photo contest.

Leonard's shot sealed a 92-90 victory for the Raptors and sent them to the Eastern Conference finals. They went on to win their first-ever NBA championship.
