Add Jon Rahm's name to the growing list of top-ranked players taking a stance against the Premier Golf League.

"I think what I’m going to do is focus on just the PGA Tour,” Rahm said on Thursday, according to Golfweek's Eamon Lynch. “At the end of the day, I’m a competitor. I’m a PGA Tour member and I’m going to stay that way.”

Rahm's comments were another massive blow to the rival tour attempting to attract the world's best players. With the 25-year-old echoing the opinions of Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka, the top-three ranked players in the world have all rejected the idea of joining the Premier Golf League.

"I'm a young player. The PGA Tour has been doing things extremely well," Rahm added. "Hopefully I have a long career ahead on the PGA Tour. The PGA Tour has done such a great job with what we have and I'm really thankful for what they've done."

McIlroy was the first notable player to shun the rival tour. Koepka made his intentions to stick with the PGA Tour clear on Sunday, after initially stating he wants to play wherever the best players are.

In January, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan told his players that those who committed to the Premier Golf League would not be allowed to play on the PGA Tour.
