Chris Paul supports Spike Lee with 'Do the Right Thing' on shoes
Spike Lee wasn't in attendance for Friday night's game between the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder, but he was on the mind of Chris Paul.
As Lee continues his boycott of the Knicks and Madison Square Garden, Paul showed his support for the director by writing "Do the Right Thing" - the title of Lee's 1989 film - on his sneakers.

The All-Star point guard said afterward that he was looking forward to seeing Lee at the game since he hadn't played at Madison Square Garden in two years.

Lee, a longtime Knicks fan and season-ticket holder, was involved in an altercation Monday with Madison Square Garden personnel regarding the entrance he used before the team's game against the Houston Rockets. He vowed not to attend another Knicks contest this season.
