The search for Aniah Blanchard, the stepdaughter of UFC heavyweight Walt Harris, appears to have ended in tragedy.

"I can confirm that human remains have been found and we have good reason to suspect they are that of Aniah Blanchard," Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes said Monday, according to WRBL News 3's Elizabeth White. The remains were discovered in Macon County, Alabama. Hughes added that Blanchard's family has been notified.

Blanchard, 19, went missing Oct. 24. Police in Pensacola, Florida arrested Ibraheem Yazeed of Montgomery, Alabama, on Nov. 7 in connection with Blanchard's disappearance.

A second suspect, Antwain Fisher, was arrested Nov. 22. Both men have been charged with first-degree kidnapping.

A third suspect, David Johnson Jr., has been arrested and charged with hindering prosecution, Hughes said, according to WSFA 12 News.

Harris was scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem in the main event of the UFC’s Dec. 7 card in Washington, D.C. He dropped out at the beginning of November and was replaced by Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
