The Sacramento Kings ended the Boston Celtics' league-best 10-game winning streak with a nail-biting 100-99 victory Sunday.

Celtics guard Marcus Smart came within inches of giving his club its 11th straight win but couldn't get a friendly bounce on his last-second floater:

The Celtics hadn't lost since their season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 23. With Saturday's defeat, they fall to 10-2 on the year but maintain their hold on the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Kings are 5-2 in their last seven games after an 0-5 start to the season.

With rotation mainstays De'Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley still out with respective injuries, Buddy Hield played hero for Sacramento, as he dropped a season-high 35 points on 14-of-24 shooting with six rebounds, four steals, and two assists.

However, Hield could hear from the league office for punting the ball into the stands to celebrate the Kings' win.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley was fined $25,000 earlier this season for throwing the game ball into the crowd following his team's opening-night win against the Los Angeles Lakers.
