Another week brings another collection of gut-wrenching bad beats for football bettors.
There's a reason we wait until Monday to release these. Hopefully, if you were on the wrong end of one or more of these outcomes, you've had enough time to hit the reset button.
As always, if you bet on any of these, our sincerest condolences.
Baylor 29, TCU 26
Bad beat: Under 49

Denzel Mims, ladies and gentlemen, makes a beautiful catch to start the 3rd OT. Baylor fakes when perhaps it shouldn’t have on the 2-point try. pic.twitter.com/fIctgI0xnL

Three overtimes.
After both teams failed to score a touchdown in regulation.
To go over the total.
Because gambling.
Florida State 38, Boston College 31
Bad beat: Under 63
Baylor-TCU took the cake for the worst beat of the afternoon, but overshadowed amid all that chaos in Fort Worth was a fourth-quarter outburst between Florida State and Boston College.
A 24-14 game in the final minutes wound up looking like this when it was all said and done:
Jeez, imagine having the BC/FSU Under and losing it by 3 points and this happens in the last 2.5 minutes pic.twitter.com/VcPMIG7P6k

Check out this gross two-drive sequence to close it out:
BC makes it interesting, as it'll have a chance at an onside kick after Grosel finds Kobay White for a 20-yard score. Nice find from the quarterback.

No unders were safe in the morning slate.
Packers 24, Panthers 16
Bad beat: Panthers +5.5
Down eight points in the final few minutes of the fourth quarter, the Panthers forced a Packers punt and needed a touchdown and two-point conversion - or a stop, depending on who you bet - to tie the game. Second-year quarterback Kyle Allen led an 18-play (!), 88-yard drive that saw seven plays run inside the red zone, and this is how it ended:

Bettors would have rather watched a pick-6 on the first play of the drive then get teased like that.
