Every week, we'll go over some betting trends that apply to the college football slate. Here's what's on tap for Week 10:

Fresno State at Hawaii

After losing by 10 as a 14-point favorite over Colorado State, Fresno State is in a bounce-back spot at Hawaii this weekend. With the Bulldogs listed as 2.5-point underdogs on the island, this could be a terrific buy-low spot. Head coach Jeff Tedford is currently on a 10-2-1 run against the spread when getting points.

Trend play: Fresno State +2.5

Navy at UConn

Service academies are dangerous with early leads. Perhaps that's why Navy's been so good this season. The Midshipmen are grabbing the advantage early, killing the clock, and completely taking the air out of the ball. They're a perfect 7-0 ATS on the first-half line this season and have a chance to move to 8-0 when they face a UConn team allowing nearly 200 yards per game on the ground.

Trend play: Navy 1H

Miami at Florida State

Miami typically turns it up defensively in two spots: as an underdog, and on the road. You can kill two birds with one stone this weekend when the Hurricanes are +3.5 at Florida State. Miami is 11-2-1 to the under in its last 13 away from home and 8-2 in its last 10 as an underdog.

Trend play: Under 47.5

Northwestern at Indiana

Speaking of coaches who excel as underdogs, Pat Fitzgerald and his Northwestern squad could be another good look at +11.5 at Indiana on Saturday. Fitzgerald's covered 11 of the last 12 on the road as an underdog.

Trend play: Northwestern +11.5

New Mexico at Nevada

When has fading New Mexico been profitable? How about any time at all. The Lobos have been one of the worst teams to bet over the last two-plus seasons, currently on a 6-18-1 run ATS.

Trend play: Nevada -3.5

UTEP at North Texas

Speaking of pure fade material, North Texas has to top the list. The Mean Green have covered just three of their last 17 games overall and two of the last 11 when favored.

Trend play: UTEP +23

Tulsa at Tulane

Tulane as a favorite? Don't mind if I do. The Green Wave are currently on a 6-0 run ATS when giving points and have covered 12 of their last 16 games at home. They welcome a Tulsa team coming off a last-second loss to Memphis.

Trend play: Tulane -10.5

UTSA at Texas A&M

Texas A&M is another good team to back as a favorite. The Aggies are on a 12-3-2 run ATS as a favorite and an 8-1-2 run when they're laying chalk at home.

Trend play: Texas A&M -38.5
