Kyle Kuzma hopes to one day join the ranks of NBA players with their own signature sneaker.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward spoke about the significance of getting a signature shoe line in an interview with Rohan Nadkarni of Sports Illustrated.

"It means a lot," he said. "I'm a basketball player, and I grew up in an era where signature shoes was huge. Maybe not so much nowadays. But when I grew up, wanting to be a basketball player, it was super important to me. Seeing Michael Jordan have shoes, Kobe have shoes, LeBron have shoes. As a little kid and as the basketball player I am, 100%. I would love it."

Kuzma signed a five-year endorsement deal with Puma earlier this month, joining an NBA roster that includes Lakers teammates DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green along with Deandre Ayton, RJ Barrett, Marvin Bagley III, and Terry Rozier.
