Virtue, Moir to retire from figure skating following upcoming tour

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir have decided to step away from competitive figure skating after a 22-year career together.

The duo will complete their upcoming Rock the Rink tour which is set to begin in Abbotsford, British Columbia on Oct. 5th and go across Canada to St. Johns, Newfoundland on Nov. 23rd, while making one stop south of the border in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 10th.

Virtue, 30, and Moir, 32, won a pair of gold medals during the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, another gold in 2010 at Vancouver, and a pair of silver medals at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
